We are registered to receive Tax-free childcare payments giving parents a 20% reduction on fees!

We offer government funded spaces for all 3-4 year olds for 15 hours per week.

All funded places commence from the term after the child's birthday.

Working parents, earning under £100,000 per year, can claim 15 hours of funded childcare for their 2 year old child and 30 hours of funded childcare for their 3-4 year old child. Parents need to apply for this funding, provide preschool with the funding code and reconfirm your funding entitlement every term. The 15 hours funding is being extended to children from 9 months of age from September 2024 and 30 hours from September 2025.

We are also able to provide funded places for some 2 year olds for 15 hours per week, where parents are receiving some additional forms of government support.

The government website Childcare Choices has full details of all of the funding criteria and entitlements, as well as information on tax free childcare, which can all be used at Brightside Preschool. We direct you to this website to ensure that you are given the correct information for your individual family circumstances. If you require further assistance just let us know and we can look at the information together.
